Scope of Work:
CMS worked with TKG engineers to design the custom central station air handling systems.
For the air handling system design, we used Energy Labs air handling units for two different configurations. We used 100 % outside air units for the lab areas and used units with return fan economizers for the office/administration areas. All units were provided with energy efficient plug fans and variable frequency drives. To handle the corrosive salt air environment, the units were provided with stainless steel internal liners and copper fins with stainless steel casings on the chilled water and hot water coils.
