Scope of Work:
CMS worked with GEM Engineers to design the air handling system for the College of Business building at Cal State San Marcos.
For the air handling system design, we used the custom capabilities of Pace to design a space efficient and energy efficient system. Utilizing direct drive plug fans with variable frequency drives, we were able to choose extremely efficient fans and provide excellent acoustic performance.
We also provided all of the IAC duct silencers and the miscellaneous fan coil units and high efficiency filters for the entire air handling system.
CMS also provided a 1200 Ton York high efficiency centrifugal chiller installed in the campus central plant as well as custom air handling units for several of the other campus buildings in addition to the College of Business.
